On October 2nd, 2021 at least 126,000 gallons of oil spilled in the Pacific Ocean of the coast of Long Beach, California.

The map below indicates the location of offshore oil platforms and the pipeline. 

The Beta Company operates the Elly and Ellen platforms off the coast of Long Beach, which are believed to be the source of the oil leak.operated by
