We are raising funds for Martha's Table (marthastable.org) - an excellent DC-based charity that provides healthy meals and clothing to individuals, families and children in need as well as a variety of early childhood and parent education programs. In the wee hours of Tuesday April 19th, Darren and I will push off from Key Bridge boathouse in Georgetown and with favorable winds, arrive at Point Lookout at dusk on Friday April 23rd. We're camping the along the way and carrying all of our supplies. We'd certainly appreciate donations - large or small - to Martha's Table.
